Niseko
United comprises of 3 inter-linked, world class ski resorts –
An'nupuri, Higashiyama
and Grand Hirafu, (all on the one ticket). In all 38 lifts and 47
kilometres of slopes, with runs to cater for all, from the beginner, to
intermediate and advanced.
For
even more variety, regular tours go to Rusutsu (45 minutes drive). Regular
buses also go to Kutchan, (8kms), with many shops, family run restaurants,
great ski shops and the JR (train) Station to Otaru, for a day trip to see
this interesting port city just across the Sea of Japan from Russia. Or
see the Winter Olympic City of Sapporo.
Niseko, has a great
village atmosphere with quirky architecture, great culture and gourmet
cuisine. There are over 20 local restaurants, Japanese hot spring baths (‘onsen’),
beautiful scenery and all highlighted by
the Yotei zan, the Mt Fuji of Hokkaido.
